The sticky children gave me a card today to say goodbye. And choklits. And hugs. And I may have had trouble staying dry-eyed. For so many reasons I'm going to miss those kids, and had such a hard time saying goodbye to one in particular.
I got a card. I really did. And hugs. And I didn't want to go because I wanted to do more for them. And I probably didn't do enough, but I tried. Can't fix the world on my own though.
