Right, I shouldn't need to do this, but just so I know I've done it:
I can be a little facetious at times. This is not going to change. I am who I am. However, I can see that my personal views can be confused with the information I will be promoting in my chosen profession. Stop it. Student Midwife Sarah is very different to Drunk and/or Verbose Sarah. And if I can't express my opinions to my friends then what's the sodding point in having either? So yes, I'm very much in favour of promoting wonderful things like breast-feeding, midwifery led units, home births and the like. Don't assume that because I feel this way that the women who will be in my care will get only the information on things I approve of.

Shouldn't have had to do that, but there have been remarks. By people who should jolly well know better.
