It's whatever time it is, I'm a crappy 1000 words into an essay due for Friday (rare case of too much research and too many ideas as to what to do with it all. It keeps getting re-written with different themes) with a Bord Altranais meeting, 2 exams and 2 dresses to also do this week and here I am. I foresee little sleep over the next few nights. Nothing new there.
I'm a very bad auntie. The niece Niamh is on stage tonight and I'm not there to watch her dance with 50 other kids to some Disney songs after sitting through 3 hours of similar crappery before she got on the stage in the town hall in Dundalk. Maybe pointing out that I'd rather eat my own eyeballs than go was a bit extreme, but really, no. Bad, unsupportive auntie. Especially so for refusing to put fake tan on the child. She's 6. I don't care how washed out lights can make kids look, she's 6, has insanely sensitive skin and she's 6! Orange skin suits no-one. Also, she's still not home. Gone midnight is not a time for 6 year olds to be up.
Chocolatey truffley cheesecakey thing for supper now. Think have got it right this time. Wonder if I wrote down what I did.
