(no subject)

Tomorrow is my first day in lectures for more than five months. Placement, it does interfere with remembering that college exists.

Plan for the next few weeks is to use bus time as study time. I can read on buses, and using it as nap time is probably not helping with not having a sleep cycle at all. By rights I should be asleep now as I'm up at 0545, but meh. Excitement! Let's see how many classmates names I've forgotten over the summer :)

Bah humbug, already

Uh, whut?
Great, new energy efficient lights, fantastic! Customers being more cautious with their money, well, yeah. (Not me though, can't be more cautious than I already am about spending.)

"confident that Irish shoppers will dip into savings and credit to have a merry Christmas" Uh. What? That's a _good_ thing? The merriness of my Christmas has absolutely nothing to do with how much stuff I get. Those around me will not be getting expensive presents, but that's because I ain't going into debt for Christmas. A lot of my presents are going to be handmade by me, not only cos I'm that much of a scrooge but because be Jaysus some of it's feckin' priceless.

Also, now that it's November, it's just about permitted to mention Christmas.
