Much better today. The house is stuffed with food and booze and no doubt I'll be on sammich making duty later on. All I want to do is bake, but have been told there's already too much cake in the house. Sod that, I'm baking. Have a real hankering to make some mini-muffins and poopy soda bread (so full of fibre, so tasty) so I'm gonna. My cake being eaten has never been an issue before.
Have decided to play a CD as the coffin's leaving the church. Elvis. Nanna adored Elvis, and I'm rather glad that no-one has thought to use the singing Elvis head at any point in the Mass. (Yes, she has one, yes, it scares the bejaysus out of me every time I see it. My uncle Geoff thought it'd be a nice thing to get her for her birthday. It's got a towel over it so it doesn't scare the nieces.) Originally someone suggested 'Suspicious Minds' which would have been a tad inappropriate, so going for the more gospelly songs.
Might even get some study done today. Liz sent me some interesting articles on epilepsy and folic acid and even though I still can't convince Pediatrics to let me look at the recent issue I'm happy enough with resources available for making brain be a mine of information for tomorrow week.
