Hannah's anniversary is today. I normally forget the exact date, though that doesn't mean that I don't remember. Went up to the graveyard armed with wire brush and pot of paint and brushes to do a few touch ups. Bumped into a steady stream of family. Aunts and uncles and the occasional cousin popping down to remember and check on the grave and leave the odd bunch of flowers. Feeling a little maudlin and yet happy. It's a strange feeling. 19 years on and she's not forgotten. It's good.
