Life Updatey
Now halfway through lectures for this term, which is really a terrifying thing this early into October. This means the super early starts for placement are not that far away now. Smelly Broad Curriculum starts next week, so Mondays become 9-9 days with a 2 hour lunch while Thursdays finish at the much more reasonable 7. Name has gone on the list for accommodation out in Naas for the two weeks out there, which is rather nice as that would have been an interesting commute by public transport.
Still love what I do, still know lots, still occasionally finding myself awake at 5 learning more.
Mum passed her driving test on her second attempt. Martha's in Germany, phoneless, for the next week and a bit. Dad's... making sure he gets plenty of protein in his diet. And me, well, I'm confused and amused at where certain relationships are going. And in one case saddened, but that happens sometimes and I've decided I can't be the only one who tries to arrange meeting up. Still haven't shaken the cold, which has turned into a nasty, persistent but unproductive cough. All the noise of bronchitis, with none of the sputum! Double yay.
