Last night, after Not Falling Asleep on the train and Not Ending up in Dundalk, the Town that Hates People, I got into bed at 8. Apparently I fell asleep damned quickly because I missed all the fun of burning lamb legs and broken glasses and ambulance arriving at my house. There's a note. It says everyone's fine and not to worry. I trust notes. Though after my day in Emergency Room yesterday when I arrived in complaining because people need to not consider ER as their first point of contact at weekends (You had a sniffly nose and nothing else! Get thee to Boots!) they may be understating the damage done to someone. The note isn't clear about what happened to who. And it being this time on a Sunday I have the house to myself and all mobiles are off (Mass and the Weekly Family Gathering.) Ah well. I'm sure someone'll tell me if something bad has happened.
I love being down there in ER though, such a variety of things going on and so many people to be nice to. And I am. Bit crap because I'm so new to the thing I can't officially do stuff, but by gosh have my obs and urinalysis skills improved! Also, can take my breaks whenever the mood takes me, which is very valuable to a smoker. And it's closer to the smoker's hut AND the canteen-of-funny-hours-and-coffee-that-tastes-like-tea.
I've just realised that I'm punctuating as I did when I was 17. While a lot of things in my life have reverted to my 17 year old ways (Bounciness! Enthusiasm! Drunk on two pints! Newfound levels of hotness! Joy and love for everything! Except tomatoes and sprouts!) that's probably not one I should work on. Hmm. Still, this feeling 17 thing seems to be having good results on my skin, some people seem to think I'm fairly recently out of school, at which I giggle, compounding that belief.
Anyways, back to college tomorrow. James' Mondays and Wednesdays and D'Olier Street on Fridays. (All 3 days til 5, this makes coffee very possible. Hint hint.) Bye bye Rotunda for another 3 weeks. I'll miss you!
Edit: Ambulance was for possibly not-minor thing but all fixed now. Yay!
