The midwives revolted in Psychology today. Something about not dealing with sick people and a request that not all references to practice be related to sick people, or something like that.
Cheek of them. Obviously the species could not ever continue without docs and people who are used to dealing with sick people. That's why all midwives have to be nurses first. Makes sense. Gah!

The kids were down yesterday for Emma's birfday dinner. I wore a Dora the Explorer cone hat. There are no photographs. She got a Dora cake. It was not tasty but very full of sugar. It kept me going until 8 whereupon I decided to take a nap before meeting M at 10. I woke up at 8 this morning. Oops. I am a bad friend.


Shifts this week - late Wednesday (out 'round 9), earlies Thursday and Friday (out 'round 4)
