Adventures in Anatomy, again.
Aug. 31st, 2007 03:17 pmWhy couldn't I have done Latin at school? I'm relying on snippets of knowledge of development of languages to get me through understanding anatomy. Which I have been studying in depth lately. Repeatedly and vigorously and enthusiastically. Hur hur hur.
I've also noticed that the approach of "ah, sure, it'll do" to work is not a new one. Take as evidence the innominate bone. Yep, innominate.
"So guys, what're we gonna call this one?"
"Meh, I'm bored. Can we finish now?"
"Er, one more to go. Alright, hmm... it doesn't look like much, let's call it the "unnamed bone." As long as we've only one of them it'll be fine. And it's not like anyone's ever going to care anyway, the whole thing'll just be a pelvis."
"Hur hur hur, you said pelvis."
