May. 24th, 2008 04:57 pmI'm not in Cork and I'm a freak magnet. Bah to both these things, but at least one is easy enough to fix.
Oh, I've apparently got stress-related dermatitis! Or at least, it's been decided that it is stress-related because of the exams, though I don't feel stressssssed about them at all. Ice is helping more than drugs. Otherwise, everything's good and healthy. Yeah.
And barring exams and a couple of essay resubmissions, I'm finished second year! Don't have any time to make up. We're allowed 5 days off a year before we have to make up time and I only missed one day of practice because of the foot and one day of lectures because of laziness. I'm finished! One more year of penury to go! Next year is going to be hard though, so once the exams are over I'll be starting work on third year stuff to get me on top of it all. Then shiny 14 weeks holliers. Of a sort. I've had no time off since Christmas, really, so at least one week will be taken just for me. Away from everything.
Exams finish Friday the 6th. Two are piss easy MCQ stuff, the other two are the potential toughies - essays. I've a habit of waffling, and my writing is atrocious but I have the knowledge and the references and experience to back up my statements. So I'll be relaxing a fair bit over the next week and watching a shed load of movies. A shed load.
