Jun. 24th, 2008 12:20 amSaturday morning nekkidness seems like it was years ago. I still feel cold though, and my calf muscles still ache - walking barefoot on stone is a lot harder than I thought. Have just spent an hour reading various blogs and the like about it, annoyed memories of lack of organisation resurfacing. In particular of the megaphones which weren't and there not being anywhere to get a cup of tea. Still glad I did it, but still glad I left when I did. Spoke to some wonderful people while there who seemed like old friends, people whose names I never asked. My grandmother doesn't seem to have had a heart attack on hearing about it and the mother is demanding my print when it arrives so she can frame it and display it in the sitting room.
And my, but you people all seem to have been doing a lot of things today!
mackenziegrace in particular, you rock. Squee! I know you probably won't see this, but it had to be said.
I'm in Cork, napping for Ireland, taking long walks and fending off killer kittehs. And eating ice-cream after discovering that my brownies don't microwave at all well. The phone is on, have stopped being an antisocial grumpy old git. Seeing the sea again changed that. Fishie liek sea.
