Tomorrow morning I register as a third year for the third time at third level. Cos I'm brilliant.

Am also not developing a cold. NOT. Dosing self with all manner of things that might possibly help this not be a cold. Of all the areas to be in, the neonatal intensive care unit is not one where colds are appreciated. Indeed, I'll be sent home. Rightly so. Have yet to have any repeat placements and I'm keeping that up, so this is not a cold. But if it _is_ a cold, I'd like it to manifest properly before I start so I can take the whole week off. If I'm going to have to repeat it anyway I might as well have the week off.

Also, still need dissertation idea. Oh gods.

So, share with me your sleeping secrets people. Honestly, how do you do it? Turning off the light doesn't work, reading for a bit beforehand doesn't work, cocoa doesn't work, checking out my latest delivery from lovehoney doesn't work (reminds me, need new batteries, particularly Cs) nothing fucking works.

I got three hours last night and then woke up at half 6. Wasn't planning on getting up till half 8 but brain had other ideas. Stupid brain.

Nottathird year. Yet. Somehow, it has taken 4 months for my summer exam results to move from the school of nursing and midwifery to college. They're a couple of hundred yards apart, you can see where the problem is, it's too far away. So I can't register yet. And I triiiiiied. I went in and I went "look, stampy stampy on form! Paid fees! Give noo card! Stampy stampy, look!" and I got "we have your supplemental results, but not your annual ones, please go away until we get your annual ones, the school are being silly about some people." Or something like that.

How can it take four months for results to cross the road?
