Jan. 25th, 2009 12:43 pmIn Cark, have had Cake. Thing about cutting down with the smokes is that obviously my sense of taste has improved (smell is still MIA and that's not because of the bronchicold.) It's a good thing I wasn't eating it anywhere public, is all I'm saying. *dribble*
Journey down was a pleasant adventure involving fools letting me read the map "left feels right", made even more pleasant for knowing that I'd missed not only domestic violence in pregnancy but female genital mutilation lectures. I get angry at even the thought of FGM, so moving on to the kittens and rainbows.
There are two black cats in heat mroowing outside my door and I nipped outside a while ago and there was a rainbow! Hooray! This positive outlook I've got for this year has not in any way worn off. Is brilliant.
Still feeling very meh about college this year. There just seems to be too many assignments and exams all of which seem to be this bloody term, yes, the one that also has placement and Schol in it. Of course, assignments are much easier to do when you've got things like essay titles and the like. Maybe a submission date so I can plan my time? That'd be nice. Bah, not complaining, it's a couple of months of hard graft and then I don't have to worry about getting up at 6 too much. Last term is only one and a half days a week! Suspect it's to give us time to do that dissertation thing. But hooray for not having too much more of the Commute of Doom this year. (I think it's less than 50 mornings now.) It's only January and yet the year seems nearly over. Knowing that this time next year I'll have got my first pay is really helping, too. Squee!
