So, exam results up. Failed one exam, unexpected outcomes of pregnancy (the "sure all I do is refer to a doc" one) which wasn't entirely unexpected after the exam. Overall, 59%, so when I pass the supplemental exam I'll be looking at 60+, which is what I was hoping for after the Year of Doom.

59% ain't too bad, considering.

I'm still gutted, really not used to failing something that means a lot to me, but with the year that was in it I'm not incredibly surprised.

Breakdown:
Breastfeeding 56% (wtf?)
Parent education 62%
Ethics 54% (wtf?)
Pharmacology 91%
Unexpected outcomes 44% (bah, why did I pick a course that has a 50% pass mark?)
Sociology 61% (hmmph)
Delivering a Quality Maternity Service 61% (Presentation of Doom)
Edit: Pharm and breastfeeding were the only two assessed before the arse fell out of my world.

So there ya go. I've calmed down a wee bit since the results came out. Going to Cark next week for a few days, will get started on revision then. Along with long essay reading and jobhunting. Fun!

Whiskey would be real nice right now.

So I went to the loo upstairs, the nut on the seat came loose and I fell onto the floor, bopping my head against the bath. Feeling a little woozy, I wandered down the stairs, slipped and twisted my ankle. "Ho hum, can't do anything else to myself now, surely," thought I, heading into the kitchen to put away the dishes that had been draining. Ha! Dropped a feckin' cast iron skillet on my foot!

I think it's time to call it a day. Haven't even had any whiskey yet. Feel free to giggle.
