Jul. 30th, 2009 06:22 pmThings I need to do:
* Read 4 books before Tuesday when they really need to go back to the Library. Tuesday is day to spend in there and also try and see doc about leg, suspect I might have damaged a ligament as I should not be in tears after walking 50m at a reasonable pace. (Can walk further with no pain, but not at any reasonable pace. After a fortnight it's time to get checked out again, really. If I wind up in the Mater on Tuesday I will be unimpressed.)
* Organise elective placement. Hoping to get a few shifts in the midwife led unit in the Lourdes as it is 20 minutes walk from my bed and about the only sort of unit that will keep me happy in hospitals once I qualify.
* Eat.
natural20 did wonder once if a calendar was needed for me to answer the question "when did you last eat?" I'd prefer for that not to actually happen, but still see no point in eating unless I'm hungry. Have, however, lost 3kg since the exams. (I like thinking in kg now, the numbers are smaller.)
* Do more work on babies. I have most of the women stuff done for repeat exam but not so much on babies.
* Decide what aspect of domestic violence I actually want to write about. Refuse to write 6 essays and just choose the best one to submit. Also need to look into options for getting 30+ copies of all of the long essays in one volume. I think that would be a nice reminder of the 4 years together.
