I now have six entire days off. Off. Six days. Almost a week! Now, the other side of that is that I'm working Thursday, Saturday and Sunday next week (with my usual panic of "public transport to Dublin doesn't run early enough of a Sunday") but that's a problem for another day.
Right now all I can think of is getting some baking done, and some tidying and boring stuff like that that I haven't had a chance to do in months. Exams aren't even slightly looming, not in my head, I've done a helluva lot of work already and study is going on the back burner until I'm properly rested again.
Work is continuing to be wonderful. I'm getting more time to give breastfeeding support, having more time with the women and the midwives. My preceptor is fantastic. Today I learned what the German for dandelion is. Though I forget it already. So I guess I didn't learn it really. I'm also getting a lot better at reading some of the regs writing, though still not well enough to figure out who each one is by their writing. And today there was tiramisu in the ward office. Life good, life foamy.
