squeefulfishI'm tidying my room. I'm de-cluttering. I'm now down to 10 pairs of shoes, excluding boots cos they're not shoes. I've a surprisingly large amount of cosmetics and girlie potions and lotions. I've filled two black bags with clothes for charidee shops, most of which has never been worn. I've three loads of washing done today, and the curtains are currently spinning their way round the machine. The windows have been washed, the bed linen changed. The big black winter coat has been sent to the dry cleaners in advance of being put away till October. I may wander off to the retail park tomorrow to see if I can get a nice pink gaberdine to make up a new pink coat (pretty much exactly like the one I've had for three years now, only less manky.) De-cluttering and downsizing wardrobe in advance of moving back to Dublin for the final two years of college. Can't really see myself staying in Dublin for too long beyond college, but that's more to do with knowing that regardless of where I live I get paid the same INO rates and money goes further outside the centre of the universe. And I would like to be able to afford both kids and somewhere to live on my salary, thank you very much.
Still haven't felt like doing college work, but hopefully that mood will pass soon. Hopefully tomorrow, need to arrange a mid-point interview with my preceptor this week to discuss where I've improved over the last fortnight and where I need to concentrate for the next fortnight. Mostly need more experience dealing with women post-operatively as I've been very lucky so far and have had mostly vaginal births. Some sections, but not many. Quite a few vacuum deliveries, but in effect the care is the same.
The bookcases are going to be culled later on, too. I'd post a list of stuff that's begging for a home, but carrying books to Dublin is a pain in the behind so charidee shop for them too. Feel as if I've done something with all this time off now. Apart from watch Torchwood.
