I'm coming down from the week away. It hurts. Though I am breathing an awful lot easier now that I'm in a doggie environment instead of a kitteh one. Transport was on my side today and I made the journey in just over 5 hours, which is bloody good. Excluding the walk from the bus to home, and the hanging around waiting for the first bus from Cark. Stuck my head into the granny flat to say hello and was greeted with a "You look great, really relaxed" and a "All she ever does is relax." Welcome home, eh?

Second thing, why the hell is everyone here so short? And where are my hugs? I've grown used to many very high quality hugs a day! And that dog is not a cat, and it's not trying to shed all over me/scratch my arms off/make me spend hours brushing it. A dog tried to follow me home from the bus, its owner not quite expecting me to reply "he's about the only one who does" to "he must fancy you." This is not a complaint. My freak magnet seems to have mostly turned itself off.

My post while I was away included such delights as a letter from the IBTS telling me that I seem to be deficient in iron and please not to be donating for at least 6 months. Don't call us, we'll call you, effectively. Which might go some way to explaining the exhaustion and occasional dizziness I've been experiencing lately. Suggestions that I pop along to my GP for a repeat FBC were made, though having had a shufty at the results I'm not quite sure why. Sure, most of the results are on the low side of normal (or high side of normal in the case of white blood cells and platelets) but still within normal ranges. Just about, anyway. Meh, shall let someone poke me with sharp metal sticks and steal some of my precious A pos, but will be declining the Galfer that I suspect will be suggested. I am not spending my summer feeling miserable from stomach ache and then constipated! Do not want.

Er, hang on, wonder if this low iron stuff has anything to do with the freak magnet... Maybe _they've_ got the magnets and... no, no, surely not.
