So, it turns out that the place I was born ("Mother and Baby home", such a nice sounding name...) was one of those "it's fun to hurt kids" places. You learn something new every day. A tad weirded out as no-one's ever been able to give a decent explanation for the scarring on my breast.

Oh, and unrelated, but this year there are no Christmas cards coming from me. So instead I'm buying chickens or something under the Concern gifts thing on behalf of peoples I'd have sent cards to.
