squeefulfishOh. Leaving Cert. Martha'll be getting her results this time next year. And she'll be legal to drink. Oh indeed.
And completely unrelated, but how does it cost €1200 more to insure her on the Ka than me? Sure, there's 13 years age gap, but that's it. That's the only difference. I'm 30, she's 17, both with zero drivies experience. Hell, even my vroomycycle insurance will be less than her car insurance. Is odd. Getting a vroomycycle, have to, no room for 4 cars outside the house and I'll need transport (plus, can park vroomycycle at work, it's very unlikely I'll get a car parking space while I'm still a student.) I'm obviously gutted :D Oh, yes, Martha bought herself a purple Ka out of her confirmation money. Yes, she got that much and yes, she's had it that long.
This is another one of those "will get once I get back to paid work" things. Which is getting sorted next week. I can walk, I'm grand again, haven't taken any painkillers in 10 days (which was also the last time I saw anyone who isn't family. Sigh.) Mostly cos codeine makes me weird and feel drunk, with associated tears at the drop of a hat or a thrown away line. And getting back to work will shift some of the summer weight. Bloody well better, found a slinky dress in the wardrobe, hidden behind my tie rack. A slinky dress with sparkly bits! I can be a real girl!
