Dec. 28th, 2008 09:09 pmGoing to Newry tomorrow for a shufty (this time with Christmas monies and a determination to buy new clothes and not look like a pauper this term). Amusingly, lidl.ie lists a store in Newry, while lidl.co.uk lists somewhere in Lancashire as being the closest to Belfast. argos.ie tells me to go to argos.co.uk when looking for stores in the North, but co.uk's store finder doesn't believe that Newry or Belfast exist. I'm sure there's an Argos somewhere there, cos they're on the map on .ie. Am very confused and somewhat irked by this. Google maps tells me there are Argoses/Argi in Newry. Edit: I had a failure to read with Argos. .co.uk does say "neener neener we won't accept town names in NI in the store finder" or something similar.
