(no subject)

Oops. We'll not be counting the number of hours sleep I got this week, ok? Discovering 10 hours before an exam that you've got another 50 pages of mystery required reading is not a good thing. Ok, it's only 50 pages, but it requires more brain work than I thought it did on first glance. Bugger. Anyway, yeah, tomorrow I finish my last 2nd year exam. After that there will be a picnic, weather permitting. After that I'm off to Cork again. For more Cake and barbecue goodness. I can sleep on the bus down, anyway.

Next week I'll worry about the summer work thing. Next week. This weekend I have fun, and meat and Cake.

Picked up my competency documents folder today. For third year. I'm not even finished exams and I'm thinking about third year placements. Straight into gynae after the summer, then a week "elective" (read: find somewhere to go yourself, or do what I half plan on doing and taking the week off and doing my elective in summer 09 somewhere interesting. Anyone want a trainee midwife for a week?) week in neonatal intensive care, week in paediatric outpatients, back to NICU for another week. Only 12 weeks placement next year. Rest being lectures. I won't know what to do with myself with all those late 0900 starts!
