May. 29th, 2009 01:08 amSo, turns out I know my stuff after all, just like people keep reassuring me I do. Got called in for my shoulder dystocia skills exam half an hour earlier than I was meant to go in, which led to a small amount of frazzled Sarah. "Do you want some water? Are you sure? Are you really, really sure?" Reckon I passed that, I know what I need to do there.
Then cord prolapse. Not entirely sure how that went, it's hard to tell with some things, especially when you've spent the whole of the skills exam with two fingers in the air on hands and knees pretending to be holding a head off a cord. Still very very confused about why the last question I was asked was about which hospital I'm with and why the reaction to my answer was "interesting, very interesting." And refused to explain why she'd asked. Gah! I checked, no-one else was asked.
Still, I walked home from the bus about 6 inches taller than I'd walked to it, so all good. Cark tomorrow. Damn, I need that.
