squeefulfishAhem. Posting under the influence of severe PMS is worse than under the influence of alcohol. Booze doesn't last as long in the system and I can regulate my alcohol intake.
Slept for 14 hours last night. 3 days at work just done in a row which I know is against all rules about supernumerary students but I've been too stressed and tired to argue over it, three more to go and then on Monday around half 8 I'm getting chips and a bahher sossij in the Kingfisher to celebrate the last ever unpaid placement day. Nom.
I'm about 4thou words into first draft of dissertation, half tempted to just submit it as is along with plan for the rest of it. One of the midwives at work was at the pilot of a Women's Aid training weekend on domestic violence in pregnancy and having spent a couple of hours yesterday going through the stuff in it I'm well impressed and hope that it gets rolled out properly. Also got another twenty or so things to read out of it, which will bring the reference list well over 100. Um. They're all relevant, I swear. 100+ isn't too many references for an 8 thousand word piece, right? Someone agree with me! (I figure that if one of my 2,000 word pieces would have had 20-30 articles/books referenced, then scaling that up I'm juuuust right.)
Nieces down now, gonna go hug one now that I'm not contagious anymore. Developed a wretched cough though, as is normal for a cold with me. Starts in brain, moves to eyes then nose, tonsils, lungs then out that way.
