squeefulfishI get to sit my exam. I'm almost in tears I'm so relieved. Still not officially off books, but apparently they'll never stop a student sitting an exam so I'm to turn up anyway.
My tonsils are starting to look normal-for-me size again, too. I can even eat! Today is a good day.
Oh, and the Nurses and Midwives Bill is unlikely to get anywhere before the election. Which means at least one of the TDs I've been badgering about this won't be voting on it (Morgan, though hopefully at least one other will lose his seat.) But it gives more breathing space. Good letter on the subject in today's Times: http://www.irishtimes.com/letters/index.html#1224284180584 signed by a bunch of people who have influenced me over the years.
