Samba Samba Samba!

squeefulfishApparently it's Drogheda Samba Festival this weekend. It has a habit of being noisy but fun with ladies in spangly outfits.
I'm particularly interested in actually making it to the Samba Mass this year (am normally sleeping off the Saturday night but that looks a lot less, er, interesting than it has in previous years.) Anyone care to join me?
Spangly outfits! Drums! Whistles! Ladies in spangly outfits! With spangles!
Edit: My mother has just pointed out that it's also the St. Oliver Plunkett procession on Sunday. So spangly outfits and a head in a box!
