Sarah goes back to skool

First day back was yesterday. Happy friendly faces, conversation flowing as though it had only been 4 days since we'd been together rather than 4 months. Gossip and news was caught up on, families were discussed, those who didn't return were mourned. I'm meant to be doing my homework now. I have actual homework, this amuses me greatly. A workbook! With pictures and everything. It's so cute. More studying of anatomy happens tonight. And then some wandering round to see where I can get me a plastic pelvis. Apparently my own isn't examinable enough though I do have a gynecoid one, yay! Not really a surprise there though, but I officially have good childbearing hips.

Got the film Broad Curriculum course, which is a very good thing indeed. Not only will there be very very little effort required on my part to get a decent enough grade but the lecture/screening times haven't changed from last year. And it's very Hitchcock heavy which is yay again. (Psycho, Vertigo, Rear Window.) With the obligatory Citizen Kane, natch. And The Quiet Man for Oirish cinema. It's a very good introduction to film studies, and while part of me wishes I'd taken something new, this is an incredibly easy 10% of the year. Film is a language I already speak, and I'll always be a bit of a meeja whore at heart.
