Hello again internet!
Jan. 31st, 2006 06:13 pmUh, been a while it has, but I've finally grown out of my crazy anti-internet ideas (or as one person put it, if the mountain won't come to Mohammed...)
So far 2006 is shaping up very well indeed. Started off bloody nicely and is continuing in a pleasant vein. Oh, speaking of veins, apparently I don't have arthritis or type 2 diabetes. So yay on that front. Much as I've missed my 50 pounds of insulation over the past few nights, an electric blanket is far better than Death By Coma.
So, plans for this year (I don't do resolutions, and besides, it's a bit late for that anyway.) Driving things, needs to be done; another 40 pounds off my more than ample frame (still dodging that bullet); maybe another new language. That'll do. Originally had decided that learning to ride side-saddle is something every lady should be able to do if she ever expects to meet her knight in shining armour. That's out the window now though. I'm still having trouble walking, a week on. Oh yeah, and midwifery. In Trinity. With Drawwda hospital for clinical placement. Better than Dundalk, the town that hates people.
