At home for the turn of the year has strange effects on me. At midnight, instead of looking for someone to snog, I ran outside to greet the neighbours, we laughed and danced and sang and hugged and kissed and then the sky lit up. And it was good. And I'm home. And I'm sober. And I'm happy.

Tha baby sis is off gallivanting somewhere close by, with orders to call if she needs to be walked home. I've rarely seen so many fireworks. It's beautiful. It's the new year, and anything can happen. And it's going to be all good.
