Self distraction post

squeefulfishThere are two parcels that were due Friday that still haven't arrived and I'm getting a bit jittery, one a birthday present the other a Christmas present from myself. Not concerned about them not actually arriving because my neighbour is the parcel van driving person and he just chucks things in the front door if there's no answer. Sometimes I love living here, knowing neighbours is something I never did in Dublin, and as for having the key in the front door... So I'm stopping myself from looking out the window for post van type things by posting. Hello. How are you?
Been back in delivery a week now. It's... good to be back in my normal setting. Back to work tomorrow with a big stick to poke some people about getting time off for a midwifery nerdery day on the 8th of Feb. And other associated pokings, mostly involving the words "labouring pool, why not in use?" "can has room in res?" and "blood test plz." But back up in a couple of hours to get college stuff sorted and go to film class. Anyone fancy coffee round 7? Otherwise it's an evening with Douglas Sirk for me.
