Student midwife. Midwife, meaning "with woman" (as every midwifery book I've read starts off.) Not "with dog." I don't do canine vulvae. Women tend not to bite when you examine them. Sandy Dog has an infection again. She's currently hiding from me under the Christmas tree, sulking because I insisted on applying cream. I'd be a lot more sympathetic towards her if she hadn't bitten me.

And The Dress is still sitting there with just pins holding it together. I think I may have to start calling on the powers of Wundaweb, super glue and staples.
